Reading With Cass

I'm just another girl in love with books and who happens to make videos about books on YouTube.

The Walking Dead: Compendium One

The Walking Dead, Compendium 1 - Cliff Rathburn, Charlie Adlard, Tony Moore, Robert Kirkman Seriously loved this book! I really liked how different it was from the show. If you think the show is gruesome and crazy, just read the comics! Wow! Loved it :D

Shadow and Bone (Grisha Trilogy)

Shadow and Bone - Leigh Bardugo Absolutely loved it! I never wanted to stop reading it. Can't wait to read the next one :)

Champion: A Legend Novel

Champion: A Legend Novel - Marie Lu My favorite in the series by far! I loved everything about this book from the action, to the romance. I even enjoyed the ending. I thought it was the perfect way to end the book and it left me feeling very satisfied. I only wished that the other two books were just as good as this one because I could not put this one down.

Prodigy: A Legend Novel

Prodigy - Marie Lu What the hell was that ending!? Seriously! It made me want to cry for them. *tears*
Anyway, I liked this one better than Legend. I liked the action better in this one and the characters. Although I'm still not really sold on the romance part haha

Legend

Legend - Marie Lu This first book was a little slow for me, I'm not going to lie. It may just be because it is the first book in a series. I did enjoy the characters and their story but I didn't really like the insta-love thing going on. Still an enjoyable read and I can't wait to continue on with the series.

The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles, Day 1)

The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss Um...is it possible to give this book, I don't know...100 STARS!?
Review to come later :D

Ten

Ten - Gretchen McNeil Holy crap that was awesome! It was the perfect YA version of Agatha Christie's, And Then There Were None. The mystery was brilliant and the writing gave me chills. I cringed at the deaths and even got scared when I saw my slippers out of the corner of my eye. That's right, the book spooked me so much that my slippers scared me! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries and thrillers :D

Sabriel (Abhorsen Trilogy)

Sabriel - Garth Nix Loved the magic and adventure in this book. It was so different and exciting! The rest of the series will definitely be read soon :D

Quidditch Through the Ages

Quidditch Through the Ages - J.K. Rowling Loved reading about Quidditch and how it came about. Definitely pick it up if you want to dive back into the Harry Potter world again but don't have the time to read the whole series again :D

Crash and Burn

Crash and Burn - Michael Hassan One of my favorite books of the year.

Sick

Sick - Tom Leveen Definitely an awesome Zombie book. It was different and it had a lot of intense gory scenes. The writing was a bit weak but the action and the whole Zombie thing really held my attention.

Slaughterhouse-Five

Slaughterhouse-Five - Kurt Vonnegut By far the best book I have ever had to read for school! It was so good but just a bit confusing. That didn't make me deduct any stars though. The story line was great and the characters were splendid. I will definitely be re-reading this at some point.

Throne of Glass

Throne of Glass - Sarah J. Maas Definitely one of my favorite books this year. The characters were amazing and I loved the world building. There was not a dull moment in this book for me; I read it in a day, it was that good. I can't wait to continue on with the rest of the series.

Allegiant (Divergent, #3)

Allegiant - Veronica Roth I can't help but give this book 5 stars. Although it did break my heart into a million pieces and made me cry for the last 50 pages, I still loved it. This series as a whole is one of my very favorites. <3

The Devouring

The Devouring - Simon Holt Ok so although I do agree that this book was creepy in places, I don't think it was written all that well. I felt like things were too obvious and that the writing style was a little childish. I found myself wishing that the book would just end because it wasn't really holding my attention. I gave it three stars because there were some very creepy parts and those parts were very well done. I am not sure I will be continuing the series though.

A Clockwork Orange

A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess 3.5
