This is probably one of my most favorite books. It was so unique in the sense that one of the main characters had commited suicide and now her voice is being played through cassete tapes. She sends those tapes out to 13 people in order to tell them that they were one of the 13 reasons why she killed herself.
Hannah Baker, the girl who commited suicide, had so many things happen to her that I cannot even begin to imagine would happen to me. Her voice was so strong and she even tried to make some parts funny.
This book definitely gave me some insight on suicide and I will look for those signs around my school.
I would recommend this book to anyone and I can't wait to read more books by Jay Asher.
Happy Reading everyone!
