Reading With Cass

I won this book off of a giveaway and I was super excited to read it. The Waiting Sky is a book about a girl named Jane McAllister who has to deal with and alcoholic mother at home and an older brother out chasing tornadoes in Oklahoma. When her mother almost causes the death of one of Jane's friends, Jane decides to leave home and help out her brother by taking photos for the Tornado Brothers. When out there Jane meets Max, a member of a rival tornado crew known as the Twister Blisters.

Anyway throughout the novel people are trying to give advice to Jane about her mother, but she doesnt know what to do. She doesnt want to leave her mom who would end up on the streets but she knows that she cant live her life when trying to help her mother live hers.

Overall I thought this book was well written and it shows that the author really understands what some teens are going through. It shows that you may need to make tough choices in life if it will help those you love. I truely enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to anyone.
